WHAT IS GOSI? / SOCIAL INSURANCE

    Your work record.
    Your social insurance.

GOSI is the General Organization for Social Insurance. It records insured employment, collects contributions and administers pensions and other benefits for eligible people.

    Saudi Arabia’s public social-insurance organisation—not a medical insurer.

    WHO IS IT FOR?

    Businesses. Workers. Beneficiaries.

Different people use GOSI for different reasons. Start with your role.

    Employers & authorised staff

Manage the establishment’s insured workforce, contributions and certificates.

    Employees & contributors

Saudi and non-Saudi workers checking their own records. Coverage differs by category.

    Retirees & beneficiaries

People using pension, survivor and other benefit services, subject to eligibility.

GOSI also offers voluntary-contribution services for eligible people. This page focuses on everyday business and employment use.

    WHAT IS IT FOR?

Two sides of the same record.

These are service choices—not steps that everyone must complete.

    FOR THE BUSINESS

    Manage your workforce record.

    Register & update employees

Add or complete a contributor record. Keep identity, start date and insured wage correct—even when a record appears automatically.

    Record employment changes

Update wages and relevant details; record a contributor’s employment end through the appropriate service.

    Review bills & payments

Reconcile the GOSI bill with payroll and the applicable contribution scheme. Follow payment status and notices.

    Certificates, access & injuries

Request establishment certificates, manage authorised supervisors, and report work injuries through the relevant services.

    FOR THE INDIVIDUAL

    Check your record and rights.

    Check employment & wages

Review your employer, contribution periods, dates, status and recorded wage. Use the relevant correction service if something is wrong.

    Get your certificates

Request contribution or wage certificates for your own record. Check what the receiving organisation actually needs.

    Explore benefits

Find pension, work-injury, SANED unemployment and maternity services. Each has its own coverage and eligibility rules.

    Manage requests & personal details

Follow requests and use the available personal-information or bank-detail services for your situation.

    KEEP THE ROLES CLEAR

    Connected work. Different services.

Completing one portal task does not automatically complete the others.

    THE AGREEMENT

    Qiwa

The employment contract and labour-side services.

    Understand Qiwa

    SOCIAL INSURANCE

    GOSI

Insured employment, contributions and applicable benefits.

    WAGE REPORTING

    Mudad

    Payroll-related services and wage-protection reporting.

    Understand Mudad

Medical insurance is separate. Recording an employment end in GOSI does not calculate or pay the employer’s end-of-service award.

    ACCESS & PREPARATION

Choose your side. Then your task.

Preparation below is for the service you need—not a universal account-registration checklist.

    BUSINESS ACCESS

    The right establishment and authority.

Open the official GOSI site and choose business services. Select the establishment and use the authorised owner or supervisor role available to you.

A personal account does not, by itself, give access to manage an establishment. Confirm the current activation and permissions requirements.

    INDIVIDUAL ACCESS

    Your own record and services.

Choose individual services and follow the official identity-verification steps. Select the employment record, certificate or benefit you need.

Use only the official sign-in route. Keep passwords, one-time codes and Nafath approvals under your control.

    To manage establishment access

    • Establishment identity and existing GOSI record
    • Authorised account administrator or supervisor details
    • Any service-specific evidence requested

    To record an employee correctly

    • Correct identity and employment dates
    • Applicable insurance category and contribution history
    • Insurable-wage components, not an assumed total payroll figure

    To check your own record

    • Your recorded contribution periods and wage
    • The precise disputed item
    • Employment or wage evidence relevant to that correction

An automatically created establishment or employee record still needs checking. Follow the selected service’s current requirements and keep the request reference.

    COSTS & CONTRIBUTIONS

A free service is not free insurance.

Separate using the online service from the contributions payable for insured employment.

    ONLINE SERVICE

    Checked core services: free

GOSI lists Add Contributor, Manage Contribution and Request Certificate as free. Statutory contributions remain separate.

    Check the service card

    INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS

    Check the person’s scheme.

The amount depends on the insurable wage, contribution history, nationality, covered branches and payroll month.

Changing employer does not, by itself, put someone into the new-law cohort.

See the contribution examples and important conditions

The new-law cohort concerns people with no prior civil-pension or social-insurance contribution periods before 3 July 2024. Verify the actual record before calculating payroll.

PRIOR SCHEME · ALL THREE BRANCHES APPLY

    Employer 11.75%
    Employee 9.75%

Pension 9% each, occupational hazards 2% employer, SANED 0.75% each.

    NEW-LAW COHORT · JULY 2026 SCHEDULE

    Employer 12.75%
    Employee 10.75%

Conditional totals derived from pension 10% each, occupational hazards 2% employer and SANED 0.75% each.

Non-Saudi and GCC employees: occupational-hazard coverage is generally employer-funded at 2%. GCC protection-extension arrangements and exceptional categories need separate checks.

Use the applicable insurable wage and GOSI bill. These examples are not a universal rate or an individual payroll calculation.
