WHAT IS MUQEEM? / RESIDENCY & TRAVEL

    Resident employees.
    Records that stay in order.

Muqeem is Elm’s business platform for managing resident-employee records and available transactions with the General Directorate of Passports—Jawazat.

Provider: Elm. Government authority: Jawazat, Ministry of Interior.

    WHO IS IT FOR?

The employer manages. The resident stays informed.

The establishment account and the employee’s documents serve different purposes.

    BUSINESS USERS

    Owners, HR & GRO teams

Authorised users handling the establishment’s resident employees, residency transactions, travel permissions and reports.

    RESIDENT EMPLOYEES

    Know what is being handled

Keep track of your passport, Iqama and travel dates. You do not need to buy an employer subscription just to understand your own documents.

Family and dependent services have their own conditions and channels. Do not assume an employer account covers every family transaction.

    WHAT IS IT FOR?

Start with the person. Choose the service.

Availability depends on the record, eligibility, package and user permissions—not simply having a login.

    RESIDENCY & RECORDS

    Keep the details current.

    Issue or renew an Iqama

Manage residence permission for an eligible employee. Check the requirements for the specific transaction.

    Iqama renewal guide

    Update passport information

Keep the resident’s passport details aligned with the current document through the available update service.

    Obtain records and reports

View resident information and use the available resident, visa and transaction reports. Some reports depend on the package.

    TRAVEL PERMISSIONS

Check the visa, then the dates.

    Exit and re-entry

Issue single or multiple exit/re-entry visas, or use the available cancellation and extension services. Conditions differ by transaction.

    Final exit

Use the relevant final-exit issuance or cancellation service. Check the resulting visa status and its conditions.

    Confirm the result

Review the issued visa and applicable validity before relying on it for travel. A submitted request is not an issued visa.

Other listed services: replacement Iqama, occupation changes and service transfers. Related approvals and eligibility still apply.

    KEEP THE ROLES CLEAR

Work permission is not residence permission.

Related records. Different responsibilities. This is not a fixed application sequence.

The employment relationship and applicable labour-side services.

    MUQEEM / JAWAZAT SIDE

    Residency & travel

The Iqama and available residency and travel transactions.

    Work visa & Iqama guide

Final exit is not the whole close-out. A final-exit visa does not, by itself, end the employment contract or settle employment obligations.

    ACCESS & PREPARATION

Set up the account. Prepare the transaction.

Keep these two checklists separate. Employee documents are not a universal account-registration list.

    ACCOUNT ACCESS

    The right establishment and users.

Start at official Muqeem. Use the registration or existing-user sign-in route; confirm the principal user, package and resident-count band.

Follow the current activation and authorisation requirements. Assign only the permissions needed; a login does not unlock every transaction.

    TRANSACTION READINESS

    The actual person and service.

Select the correct resident record and check the chosen service’s requirements, fees and status before proceeding.

Work-permit, insurance or payment checks may apply to the selected task. Do not assume every case follows one fixed Qiwa → GOSI → Muqeem sequence.

    For account setup

    • Correct establishment identity and contact details
    • The authorised principal user's details
    • Resident count, package and billing details requested by Muqeem

    For a resident transaction

    • The employee's current passport and residency record
    • The precise service, dates and eligibility shown
    • Relevant work-permit, insurance or payment status where required by that service

Keep identity verification and approvals under the authorised user’s control. Do not send passports, passwords or one-time codes through a general enquiry.

    COSTS & PACKAGES

The subscription is only one cost.

Compare the resident-count band, included users and services before selecting a package.

Some operations use points or separate charges. The package FAQ says points cannot pay for a subscription.

“Free” in the platform’s service table does not establish that the associated government fee is waived. DuVolks’ agreed assistance fees are also separate.
